The Creation of Q*Bert By Warren Davis, as told to Coinop.org Introduction I am constantly amazed at the fondness people have in their hearts toward Q*bert. I was glad it was successful when it first came out, but I never expected it to be remembered after this many years. It's an honor to have been able to touch the lives of so many people in a positive way, and for that I will

The National Coin-Op and Video Game Museum St. Louis, Missouri, November 1994 (by Stephen J. Ryner) Sadly, it seems the National Coin-Op and Video Game Museum has finally closed its doors. The manager, Chris Lindsay, had reported the museum had been losing money and was unlikely to last once its parent company had been acquired. This page is nowin memoriam... The National Coin-Op and Video Game Museum The Entry November 1994 When you first walk in, you can get some change. That's what Rich is doing here. Or maybe he's buying a T shirt. The National Coin-Op and Video Game Museum The South Room November 1994 This quickly became my favorite room. A Q*bert to the right, and a beautiful Dig Dug in the middle of the room. Baby Pac-Man restoration General Game Information Manual in PDF Format Excellent MPU Repair Guide (offsite) 2000-03-12 Received a dead Baby Pac-Man around March of 2000. (The Q*Bert is dead too, that's next.) 2002-05-19 Went down to finally deal with this thing. All exposed metal surfaces are slightly hot, so I replaced the multilated power cord with a 3-prong power cord. Power on. Shock is gone. Hear startup tune, quietly.
