Game Summary

Start of classic racing series- spiritual successor to the Pole Position series.

Hardware Platform: Namco System 2

Game Details

One of the last of the Atari/Namco games (future Final Laps were published solely by Namco).

Essentially, a graphically made-over Pole Position. Arcade units could be linked (8 max.?) for head-to-head racing.

Home version contained a role-playing-game mode, as well as standard racing games.
