Game Details

You are driving a car at night, but the only thing you can see are the lights on the edges of the roadway.

This was the earliest first-person driving game, showing the view from within the car without actually showing any part of the car itself. The problem of having to create scenery whizzing by was cleverly solved by setting the game at night.

The goal is to go as fast as you can in the allotted time. The game had a steering wheel, gas pedal, and four-speed shift. There are novice, pro, and expert tracks.
