Each house has several floors accessible by jumping on trampolines at the bottom of shafts. There is two of each item per level, and bonus multipliers are awarded for getting the items in pairs.
Doors could be opened/shut to stun cats and some even projected sonic waves that would sweep across the length of the current floor, temporarily disposing of any cat it caught. These are important because even though you are a cop, you have no weapon to use! Go figure.
