Game Summary

Hi-tech follow-up to Afterburner series.

Game Details

Slightly more realistic update to Sega's Afterburner line. Game play was much the same- shoot down enemy planes, refuel, don't run out of missiles.

Enemy shots could puncture (and shatter) the canopy. Title stands for "Loss of Consciousness (from) Gravity", in reference to the high g-forces sustained in combat.

Game was available in both stand-up and motion-simulation cockpit versions. A full 360 degree spinning (vomit inducing) version was released as R360.

  • Published for Sega Genesis, Game Gear by Sega.
