NFL Blitz (official name, marketed mainly under "Blitz") is completely focused on long bombs, hard hits, and everything else that goes into a football highlight reel. Pass interference is not only okay, it's strongly encouraged. Once the ball is dead, players can leg drop and body slam opponents, just for fun. 3Dfx-enhanced polygon graphics. Features a three-icon code entry system similar to the ones used in NBA Hangtime and Mortal Kombat 3/4, plus a name/PIN number entry system like Hangtime's.
