Game Summary
Distributed game name: GAPLUS OR GALAGA 3... A sequel released by NAMCO of the original Galaga under two different names both released in 1984.
Hardware Platform: -Unique or Unknown-
Game Details
The sequel to GALAGA by NAMCO. This new improved version expanded the color depth to 256 colors (from 96) but left the original 224x288 and added vertical motion as well as a very new 3-D-ish look to the play field background via 3 separate sets of scrolling stars. Though not much more complex than its predecessor, GALAGA 3 is more challenging. The new version adds several new twists to the player's firepower options by allowing a full width screen of ships that are able to fire at once.

I don't remember if the switches are labelled 'A' and 'B' on the board
or not, but that's how they are referred to in the manual, and 'A' is the
one closer to the pinouts.

Arcade Game Cheats
--- 720 --- (Contributor: unknown) In the ramp section, levels 8, 9, and 10: holding down the kick and jump buttons simultanously on the lip of the ramp will boost your air. This trick only works when you're going the correct speed (usually your third or fourth jump), and only once (as far as I can tell) per ramp session per level. ----------- Afterburner ----------- (Contributor: Anthony D.
