**** by MrSkip. Comment: " Remember how exciting video games were when we were kids? How we would save the change from our lunch money and do extra chores just to get a few more shiny quarters to feed to one of these noisy machines? Space Firebird is just such a machine. Similar in gameplay to many of the SpaceInvaders-meets-Galaga type games, this game has the added warp feature to give you an edge over the aliens. The only reason I rank this game 4 out of 5 is that my skill was so poor I had to watch my older brother play to get any real enjoyment out of it! A real classic! " 2002-12-04 11:32:05Z

***** by pinball_freak. Comment: "I've played a lot of video games in my lifetime but none are more memorable than space firebird. Like my friends that mastered pac-man and dig dug I owned space firebird at the local arcade. Without a doubt some of the best days of my youth were spent dropping quaters into the game that never grew old. Often imitated but never duplicated, Space Firebird was the prototype for future classics such as galaga, and phoenix. I'll take this game over PS II or X-Box anyday. " 2004-01-05 21:36:38Z
