Game Details

Very modern update of games such as Hogan's Alley. In this game, the background was nearly photo-realistic, as were the criminals and civilians who popped up. Also, this game forced you to reload your gun at least every six shots by pointing away from the screen and firing, making it one of the first to require reloading.

Better players knew to reload after even just one or two shots if no enemies were in sight, rather than risk using the last shot up when many enemies were on the screen. Lives lost by getting shot or shooting an innocent civilian.

Power-ups such as a Magnum and rifle were available. Levels included a bank robbery and an armored car heist. At the end of each level, you were evaluated and possibly promoted or demoted in rank based on your performance.
