Game Details
Street Fighter V: Type Arcade, released in Japan on March 14, 2019, is an arcade-exclusive version of Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, running on Taito’s NESiCAxLive digital distribution system in Vewlix TTX4 cabinets. The arcade release includes USB ports for players to use personal controllers such as Razer Panthera, HORI Real Arcade Pro, or Mad Catz Fightpad Pro, and allows linking of Capcom Fighters Network accounts to track progress and achievements. The interface displays rankings, player names, titles, and Battle Points above the health bar. A major addition, introduced in June 2020, is Boss Rush mode, where players face successive powerful opponents like Shadow Nash, Shin Akuma, and Gill, earning points and exclusive items upon completion. The service concluded in April 2024, making way for Street Fighter 6: Type Arcade.
