Game Details
Street Fighter EX2 Plus, released in arcades on June 11, 1999, expands EX2’s roster and mechanics. All original characters return except Hayate, while M. Bison, Darun, and Pullum Purna rejoin the lineup. New additions include Sagat, Vulcano Rosso, and Area, with Nanase now a standard character. A secret final opponent, Bison II, appears in single-player mode.
Gameplay enhancements include Meteor Combos—enhanced Super Combos requiring all three Super Combo stocks—standardized across all characters. The Excel Combo system was refined, allowing basic or special moves to chain into the same move, increasing combo flexibility.
